New Work - fashion + beauty shoot

I did a really interesting shoot with Antonio Milevcic, fashion photographer, and Elissa from M+P Agency last week. The shoot took place in Bromley which took me right out of my comfort zone and forced me to drive off into the unknown. Aside from a few technical i-phone issues, I made it in one piece. It is a lovely part of the world.

I kept things very natural for the first look. Elissa's skin is amazing so she didn't need much coverage. The eye makeup was kept to a minimum and I just enhanced her natural features.

I went darker on the eyes for the second look and added some texture to her hair.

And for the final look I put the hair back in several messy braids and went super-smokey on the eyes while pairing the lips right back to almost the colour of her skin tone.

New work - Xsenia & Olya Fashion Show

Here are some pictures from a fashion show I worked on a few weeks back. It was for the label Xsenia & Olya and was a fairly informal catwalk show at the Gallery for Russian Arts and Design in the West End, London.

The makeup look was natural and glowing - lots of lovely dewy skin, a subtle smokey eye and a nude lip. The clothes were really flowing and colourful, involving quite a lot of fabric so a neutral makeup look worked best to compliment the designs.

New work - Cuppa Magazine

I worked on a lovely photo-shoot last week for Cuppa Magazine. The magazine is best described by the Creative Director Si Pui Tuong;  "Cuppa Magazine is from one tea drinker to another. Cuppa celebrates the beauty and serenity of tea; sharing the curiosity of fashion, photography and London with other tea drinkers.”

Here are some of my favourites shots from the day.

For the look we went with a pastel pop of lilac on the eyes and kept everything else fairly neutral. The hair was boho bed-hair with a side braid at first, then later let out in its wavy glory.
